Hi, I’m John Wingfield—a social media strategist, adventure photographer, and outdoor enthusiast based in the Pacific Northwest. With over a decade of experience in social media management, content creation, and photography, I’m passionate about using digital platforms to tell stories that connect people with brands, places, and experiences.

Born and raised in Alaska, I developed a deep appreciation for wild spaces early on. This love for the outdoors shaped my career as an adventure guide and photographer, where I’ve had the privilege of leading tours across Alaska and Iceland, hosting photography workshops, and documenting some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes. I’m also the founder of Wingman Excursions, a boutique adventure company specializing in luxury, small-group tours. Recently, Wingman Excursions was featured as a top prize on Let’s Make a Deal, highlighting our commitment to creating memorable, high-quality experiences.

On the digital side, I’ve managed social media for a range of clients, from conservation campaigns to tech brands. My work as Head of Social Media for the No Ambler Road Campaign resulted in national media coverage, while my freelance work has grown my personal audience to over 250,000 followers, generating millions of monthly impressions. Whether working with clients or building my own brand, I focus on data-driven strategies, engaging storytelling, and visually compelling content that captures attention.

My goal is to bridge my passions for storytelling and conservation, helping brands and individuals make meaningful connections in the digital world. When I’m not behind the camera or managing campaigns, you’ll likely find me exploring the Pacific Northwest with my dog, Millie, or working on new projects that inspire me to blend creativity with purpose.
